Gamecube game boy player?
Okay so i have the Pokemon xd gale of darkness and i see that i can move Pokemon from my GameCube advance onto my GameCube but do i need this game boy player to do this or is there some other cord that will do it for a cheaper price and doesn't require a disk?
also this cable i have been told about does it work on the gba sp or not because i don't have the original gba

You Need A Gamecube To Gameboy Advanced Cable To Trade. It Will Not Work With The Gameboy Player Alone. You Also Need To Beat Pokemon XD First. You Can Find A Gamecube To Gameboy Advanced Cable On Ebay Or Amazon. I got Mine Under 10$.

You can use a GBA link cable if you have a gameboy advance.
