Hard drive beeps, won't boot?
My Toshiba Satellite C655 with a Seagate 500gb hard drive froze up the other night (which is strange), so I turned it off. The next morning, the hard drive starts beeping during the boot up screen, and it doesn't go anywhere. No Windows. I got this warning after about a minute of the beeping sound:
"PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable PXE-MOF: exiting PXE ROM no bootable device - insert boot disk."
I then put in the recovery disk and restarted, which got me this error:
"ERROR: F3-F100-0003"
I checked BIOS, and it doesn't see my hard drive, which I made sure was securely plugged in. Is my one-year, one-month old hard drive toast?
I save all of my important stuff to the cloud, so I really didn't lose anything hideously important.

I recommand u check ur chords are properply connected to your hardisk.(In most cases they are loss).Check the controller that connects ur hardisk and motherboard is properly connected and has not broken. If its broken then u can just replace the chord which connects ur hardisk with motherboard. If it doesnt work then you will have to replace it.

A hard disk cannot beep its a sound code from the motherboard in the computer and its most likely refering to hard disk failure, you need to buy a new hard drive!
And you should remember that laptops arent build to be ON 24/7 but professional servers are!
