Where can I get a GOOD spaetzle making kit in the UK?
I lived in Germany for 5 months and it was only at the end of my stay that I discovered spaetzle, or more specifically, Kaesespaeztle (cheese, erm, spaetzle). My girlfriend cooks the premade stuff so well, but it looks fun to make your own!
I believe the special sieves used to make it were easy to get hold of in Germany, but I don't really want to pay to have one shipped over here! I am also not interested in cheap crud. I want this spaetzle to shine!!!
http://step-by-step-cook.co.uk/sidedishes/spaetzle... - this website shows an elaborate, almost industrial press. As great as this would be, I dont think I'll be making enough to warrant getting one of those!
The usual home spaetzle makers look more like cheese graters!

you don't need to use a cheese grater for the recipe. look for what is called a potato ricer and you will accomplish the same shape
