be it a few lines of sentiment or a multi-stanza poem. A poem needs to create a premise,

leading to a resolution,

regardless of length.

Good rhyming and sentiments here. But you did not say that you were awake then when you held those hands. Could be someone else's hand, or some object. Beware.
