If you don't have a lot/any job experience, what should you put on your resume?

I'm making up my resume, but I don't really have a lot of job experience.

My only "official job" was 4 year ago, working at a clothing store for the summer.

And I work occasionally for my parents business doing office work.

I've graduated high school and am in college for Office Administration.

Since I've only had these 2 small jobs, my resume is really short.

What else should I put on it to make it look better?

I'll be apply to mostly do reception/office work at these places in town.

    Write that and that.

The simply write what you like doing, what you're good at, even if it is simple stuff like drawing or running... but nothing like an ability to stick your whole fist into your mouth.

If not, say things about yourself, your personality, like if you're determined ( i advise you to write that even if you are not it always gives a good impression, and the first impression is the most imprtant) you are very social or even shy! but don't write to many negative aspects.

    Good luck! :D

I would not state you work occasionally for your parents business but have worked part time 4 days a week for the last 2 years and elaborate (more detail) on your office duties responsibilities which I am sure you did not list them all which should be bullet points on your resume. Don't forget to include i.e average number of phone calls per day 20-40, skills at Microsoft office i.e. Word, Excel etc., if you did invoices how many per day or week. monthly or weekly reports and type of reports. Let your parents view your resume and have a copy so they are prepared if called to confirm i.e. length of employment and duties performed. Good Luck!. .
