I took a part time job at a salon, and they've only been giving me max. 9 hours a week.

So I don't even make enough to pay for the most basic things I need to.

I also rarely get 9 hours a week as we are always closing earlier.

I can't get any more hours, and I need to quit.

Is it required that I have 2 weeks notice when I've only been working there for 3 weeks?

My boss isn't very nice and I don't feel like the remaining 2 weeks would be made pleasent.

I wanted to try a juice cleanse, a homemade one.

But I don't really know much about them.

Where can you find them, what are some good ones, what effect do they have?

Or is this the price of fame?

I see a lot of people saying that they wait a few days to a week in between washes.

I always thought to wash your hair every day.

My hair has been really damaged from dieing/bleaching & heat.

I dont dye it anymore, and I try to limit the heated tools.

It's still very dry and fried.

What products should I be using for my hair to help protect and repair it?

I really want to gage my ears just a bit and I've head it grows back if you dont stretch them too far.

I know it's not the best way to quit a job, but I'm very shy and really didn't enjoy my experience working with the store, so I'd rather do it this way. And I wont be looking to them for a refference.

I've only been working there 2 weeks, and there really isn't anything I enjoy about it.

I don't think their management is proper, and they're just unfair.

In my most recent shift, as a very new employee, I had to be incharge of doing everything in the store, while the other 7 staff members there that day got to be part of a visual training thing.

I was on with 1 other girl who was just as new as me, and she couldnt even do cash.

It was just too stressful and they weren't helpful, always just criticial.

I am not going to go back to work there.

So what do I say?

Whenever I wear makeup, my face gets really oily and it looks horrible.

I use a liquid foundation, Mac, and a setting powder.

But within a few hours, its like cakey on my face.

I tried BareMinerals powder, but that still got really oily too.

Every single time I wear foundation, without a few hours it looks super cakey and oily and gross.

I've tried many different brands of liquid foundation, powders like BareMinerals, and oil free products, oil blotting papers and powders.

It all looks great for a bit, it gets oily.

It happens even when I wear just a little bit.

Is there anything I can do to stop this?

My skin without makeup isnt oily at all, its only when I'm wear foundation.

So I have this 1 friend, and everytime we ask her to come out with us she gives a billion excuses. It's like pulling teeth to get her to actually come out. I know shes a little insecure about her appearance, but I always do her hair for her, and lend her my clothes to go out. She herself never acutally wants to go shopping to get her own clothes, and ALWAYS uses the excuse she has nothing to wear..

Then she'll ask a million questions about going out, like whos there, where it is, ect and then will say something negative about each aspect of that.

She'll keep this going for at least an hour, (making us wait around on her), before she acutally decides if she'll come or not.

But then when we finally give up and decide that we're going either way, she seems all upset and like "Oh well okay, I would've went but I guess there's no time now".

Like what is her deal? We do so much to try and make her come, and she either makes us wait forever on her, or gets upset if we go without.

I'm sick of always trying to appease someone who doesn't seem to even like doing stuff with us.

Advice? What should I do !

I have a pimple, that I popped, and now it has scabbed over.

What can I use to make the scab go away the fastest?

I've always had a problem with biting my nails, and reguarlly had gel nails put on.

Now I'm trying to grow them out and keep them natural.

But I find that they are very brittle and break all the time.

I'm always putting nail polish and hardening polishes on them but it doesnt really seem to help.

And whenever I pick at them, or they get irritated, it turns into a huge infected pimple and leaves scarring.

What can I do to prevent this from happpening and how do I treat the infected pimple now?

I think they're adorable and I'd like to get one as a pet.

I have a cat at home, but my cat doesn't go in my room.

I don't really know too much about hedgehogs, or what they'd be like as pets.

Are they dangerous at all, with the spikes?

What kind of cage do they need?

I want to start working out, just starting out with the tredmill every day and eating healthier.

I have some knee problems also.

So how much time should you spend on the tredmill to make it worth while to actually be burning calories?

I'm making up my resume, but I don't really have a lot of job experience.

My only "official job" was 4 year ago, working at a clothing store for the summer.

And I work occasionally for my parents business doing office work.

I've graduated high school and am in college for Office Administration.

Since I've only had these 2 small jobs, my resume is really short.

What else should I put on it to make it look better?

I'll be apply to mostly do reception/office work at these places in town.
