What do you think of the name Stefan for a baby boy?
Opinion? Bad name, good name?
I think it's nice, it's different.
Would you spell it differently ?

i love this name! it's classic and handsome. i think this is the best spelling because if you spelling it any other way basically, i think that he'd be called "Steven." you could spelling it Steffan but i think the one F looks nicer. :) my best friend just had twin boys named Oliver + Stephen. she pronounces Stephen like Stefan and i just love the name. :) i'd definitely recommend using it. xx

I wouldn't give my children names that are foreign in the country that they are growing up in but that's just me. When I went to school in Germany, there were many boys names "Stefan" (same spelling and all). In Germany "Stefan" used to be a very common first name. Not sure if it's still the case. Sometimes, it's spelled "Stephan" as well.

I like the name Stefan! ^__^
Very masculine and quite...European.
I've heard it pronounced two ways.
STEF-UN and STEF-AAN. Either way I like both pronunciations but the STEF-AAN I know is of European decent and his full name is Stefanos but he goes by Stefan. I wouldn't spell it differently. I'm 100% sure that Stephen is pronounced Steven so I think you should just stick with Stefan. :)

I have a friend name Steffan and it's pronounced like Steff-AN. He is from Sweden so I always though it was a Swedish version of Stephen.
I like it better with one 'f' as it is pronounced differently, like Steff-UN, and it looks neater.
It's unusual without being unheard of. Good choice!
