20 too old to start uni? ?
Hey so I travelled for two years straight after high school and now decided I'm going to uni. I'm wondering if being 20 and being a fresher if I'll be an outsider? What is the average age of a fresher?

Age is not a problem. I started my first degree distance learning when i was 20 and started my second degree at university when I was 26.

Lol. I didn't start uni until 27 and a quarter of the class is older than me. It's never too late.

Not in the US. Actually you will bring a slight level of maturity and experience to your classes. And even being 18 does not ensure insider status.

No. I only went to university at 20 and felt like the young newb in certain classes. Made friends with people who are over 30 on their first year.

Fresher? Really?
You'll be alone if you use that word again.
There are people aged 25-40, and I once met a 50 year old taking "fresher" courses.

The average age of freshmen varies from school to school. You will be older than most of the students in your year, but you're only 2 years behind so it shouldn't make that much of a difference. You'll just have a lot of freshmen asking you to buy them alcohol in a year.
