Getting tooth pulled for braces. Anyone have this done?

I have a slight underbite and my ortho says that if rubberbands don't fix it then i'll have to get a tooth pulled from the back. I'm not too concerned with this as I know that since it's in the back no one will be able to notice and once the ortho treatment is over the gaps and all that will be closed, but my question is if you're mouth feels any different with the tooth gone (i mean once the braces have fixed everything). Do you notice that one side isn't even, does your tongue fit differently in your mouth? hopefully this question makes sense.

TIA :)

Your mouth doesn't feel weird. By then your mouth will be used to the tooth gone.

Its really no different than loosing a tooth. Feels different for a day or so but after that you cant even notice it. I had 3 pulled this last summer and if yours are like mine were, just shoved out of the way by the secondary tooth, it's actually a relief to have it gone since it was just in the way.

nope. when you first get it pulled it will feel different and like youll never get used to it. but trust me, once a week has gone by, maybe not even a week, you will have forgotten all about it.
