  • CVS Cashier Job, Uniform?

I was just hired as a cashier at CVS and I m wondering, what kind of shoes am I able to wear on the job? I read online that we are supposed to wear "shine-able shoes" but i m not sure what exactly that means. I'm a female and I would like to wear something somewhat stylish and when i type in "shine-able shoes" to google all that comes up are men's shoes and women's shoes that look like men's shoes.

Does anyone have examples of what shoes to wear, especially if you worked somewhere like cvs, right aid, walgreens etc.

(I start work right after orientation so I don't really have time to wait until after orientation to buy shoes for my job)

    thanks!

  • Perfect Substitutes Question?

I have an economic problem that says you can make 1 lemonade with 5 large lemons or you can make one lemonade with 10 small lemons where x is the number of large lemons and z is the number of small lemons.

in the answer it says that the production function is f(xz)= x + (z/4)

i'm confused about how to get the production function, where does the four come from? I thought the answer would be f(xz)= x + (z/2) because one unit of x is worth 1/2 unit of z.

can anyone explain to me how this is the answer

  • Paint It Black tanning lotion question?

Is this lotion a fake tanner or is it just a lotion that will help you get a natural tan when you're out in the sun tanning? Will the tan you get from this lotion wash away/fade away like a fake tan or will the tan gradually fade if I were to stop using the product, like a natural tan? I've read reviews on the product and it seems like reviewers describe it as being both ways, so I'm confused as to what it really is.

  • Microeconomics: Deriving demand function from utility functions with only one price?

Hilary has $100 to spend. Her utility function is U(x1,x2)=min{x1, 2x2}. The price of good 2 is p2=2. Sketch Hilary's demand curve for good x1.

I already have the answer to the equation and what the graph looks like, but I'm unsure of how you get these answers. I'm confused about finding the demand for x1 when you only have the price of x2. Can someone help me on this?

  • Get pictures off a broken laptop?

  • Retrieve pictures from broken external hardrive?

Hi, this is the external hard drive that I have http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/%E2%80%A6 The external hard drive was stepped on and now I can not get it to connect to my computer. When I turn the device on it makes noise like it is booting up but then the noise will kind of start skipping and then it gives up. My computer acknowledges that something is hooked up to it but it doesn't open the window that allows me to view any of the information on the external hard drive.

Does it sound like there is any way for me to get my pictures etc off of the device, and if so around how much would it cost?

    TIA

  • Era of Easy Finance, what does this describe?

If you were to give a definition of this what would it be, my economic notes just state that it was in the post WWII era from 1941-1986, but I can't find anything that specifically says the characteristics of this "era". I'm just unsure of what exactly the era of easy finance describes?

this isn't a homework question or anything I just want to know because I'm studying for an exam and I can't find anything in my notes, books or google that mention this really.

    TIA :)

  • Retaking my drivers license picture?

Is there any way to just go in and get your picture retaken? I'm turning 21 this year and my license is expiring on my birthday. I was going to hold off on renewing my license for about a month because I will be getting my braces off then. But now I realize that I wont have a valid form of ID and being 21 and having braces I will definitely be getting carded when buying drinks and what not so I will need ID. If i go in and renew my license before my birthday and before I get my braces off, will I be able to go back and get my picture retaken after I get my braces removed? I just don' want to have braces in my drivers license photo for the next however many years. So can I go in just to get my picture retaken?

after the passage of anti-pollution laws was only 0.03 of the lake’s surface covered

would it just be .48 (.5)^ t=.03 then solve for T

  • Accounting HW Question (not asking for answer just guidance)?

    the problem states:

The $15,000 long-term note is an 8%, five-year, interest-bearing note with interest payable annually on December 31. The note was signed with First National Bank on December 31, 2011.

I am then supposed to make adjustments and figure out the ending balance of "interest expense" account and "interest payable" account (both have a beginning balance of zero)

If someone can push me in the right direction or give me a formula of how to figure this out it would be really helpful

  • Getting tooth pulled for braces. Anyone have this done?

I have a slight underbite and my ortho says that if rubberbands don't fix it then i'll have to get a tooth pulled from the back. I'm not too concerned with this as I know that since it's in the back no one will be able to notice and once the ortho treatment is over the gaps and all that will be closed, but my question is if you're mouth feels any different with the tooth gone (i mean once the braces have fixed everything). Do you notice that one side isn't even, does your tongue fit differently in your mouth? hopefully this question makes sense.

    TIA :)
