Expiring birth control patch; Ortho Erva?

Ok I am currently on the ortho erva patch and I looked at the packet and it said expire April 15 and yesterday was the 16. I am not sure if the number 15 is the year or the day number. Does anyone know?

Hi.....well the actual year date of your medication? Should be the last 2 numbers on the label/packet......Example: 10-12,which means the expiration date is October,2012...some packets/labels will have the full date of expiration....3-16-12....

If your not sure of the expiration date of any medication(s)?

Please.....just phone your pharmacist and ask.

Also....I'm sure your birth control medicine is still good.

    Hope this helps.

    Take care.

Some have date of making in themand it says at the bottom how many months they are valid. Medications from 2009 if they were 24 months from their making are now expired because this is the 3rd year. It is important to be able to read either on the box or on the inside package which carries the date as well.Do not take them when they are expired.
