your experience with serpae (red minor) tetras?

I currently have 9 of them in my 55 gallon, moderately planted tank. I've been reading that they get aggressive with other fish.. but I haven't seen any of this behavior. They just like to swim back and fourth in and out of the plants and tend to leave everyone else alone.. Has anyone had a problem with them?

I have a group of 6 in my 29 gallon (recently out of quarantine, so behaviors might not show yet). There are also rosy tetras in the tank, and lemon tetras. I have not seen any aggression problems. The only time I have heard of aggression is when they are underfed. They may attack the eyes of other fish, or when food is added go into a "frenzy". Other than that I've never had problems, as i had a group years ago as well.

Also, insuffiecinet numbers may result in aggression as well.

i think of you're meant to have a separate tank for breeding which you will positioned a pair in. this style as quickly as the eggs are laid you could eliminate the mothers and dads devoid of lot of rigidity.
