Should I go ahead and buy the Canon 5d Mark II, or wait?
Okay so, I've been saving up a lot of money from recent shoots recently to plan on buying the Canon 5D Mark II this upcoming June/July. Right now I have the 7D and don't get me wrong, it's a great camera.. except I have realized the 5D fulfills my needs more than my current 7D, especially as far as what kind of photography I shoot goes and the features it has. Anyways, I am still curious though - should I wait until the 5D goes even lower in price and stick with my 7D until then, or should I go ahead and buy the 5D and then upgrade further down the road? Or do something different you guys suggest? I know the 5D Mark III just came out so I'm also wondering if I should just go with that instead of the 5D Mark II even though I know I'd be happy with just the 5D Mark II. What do you think is the best choice to go for? Thanks so much.

It would seem that you have more money than sense, 1 year ago you were using a Nikon D3000, now you have a canon 7D and want a 5D.
So I would suggest you buy the 5D mkiii, with the 24-70 f2.8 L lens (if you don't already have it).

Sorry, but since you have to ask, you don't need a MKII. You haven't outgrown your 7D. Put your money towards a new piece of glass or two.

If you can actually afford the Mark III than go ahead and get that now. But if not than just get the Mark II. Have you considered the D800?

I doubt they will be decreasing he price much more because they want people to shell out more for the mkiii. I would buy it but make sure you have some money left over for a good lens

GET IT. It's so worth it. I am absolutely in love with mine, and I don't think the price will be going down too much in the near future. Great quality, weather proof, and higher iso quality. So many things I love about this camera I'd be on here for awhile trying to type them all...long story short...its worth every dime.
