Mass Effect 3 reinforcement packs?

Packs in general are used to unlock a just about everything in multiplayer.

For additional colors you will need to promote that class after reaching level 20, additional appearance options can be unlocked through packs as well.

Edit - Also reinforcement packs specifically, from what I understand these packs were given to players who played the ME3 Demo (no longer obtainable) or for certain pre-order options (also no longer obtainable) in which case they are a once in a life time pack to show BioWare's appreciation for showing interest in their game.

You buy them with credits that you get in game. they give you more weapons, upgrades, and new character classes. After you prestige a character, you get access to more colors. If you need more help with multiplayer, this guide will help.

The info next to the character customization says reinforcement packs, but it really just reffers to the Recruit, Veteran, Premium Veteran, Spectre, Premium Spectre packs. I would advise you to just save up for the Premium Spectre all the time when you play, sometimes it'sthere somtimes it's just spectre, you have a better chance for getting characters/duplicate characters which will add additional appearance options and points if you already have that character, also you have a better chance for getting ultra rare items and generally better bulk of items such as higher level mods etc.

You get character customization from any packs. I get plenty from the recruit packs. When you buy veteran or spectre you have a higher chance on getting different aliens to play as. Reinforcement pack is only available once for free more of a welcoming gift.
