Can Windows Live be uninstalled from Windows 7, without major impact to the system?

    yes you can uninstall it without damaging other programs

    but

    do not use Revo Uninstaller because it will also delete registry keys and files that are SHARED between Windows Live and other Windows programs.If you do that then some thing won't work anymore.

    Sure it can. but use a uninstaller program such as Revo Uninstaller so you delete all the traces it normally leaves behind after regular un-installation.
