Windows update resulted one printer not working. Any ideas?
Microsoft Office is not printing to one of my printers, a HP1022. It does print to a Lexmark 920. The HP prints from the internet, and its own diagnostic page.
So do I go to the restore point? Reinstall Office? Or what?
3 AnswersPrinters8 years agoWill the House of Representatives compromise with Obama?
A large number of the House Republicans have signed Grover Norquist's tax pledge. They have promised that they will not compromise on taxes. Also a lot of them feel that it is their patriotic duty to put the country in financial crisis, because they believe were headed for a financial crisis. It is a classic self-fulfilling policy.
4 AnswersGovernment9 years agoTime to repatriate the money that corporations have tied up offshore because of tax consequences?
Give a 6 month or 1 year amnesty on money brought back from overseas.
But the money has to go into public/private partnerships that are tied to NEW jobs in manufacturing, mining, drilling, and farming ONLY. This will support American jobs and American products. Let the corporations die that just act as middle men in financial deals. If those money shuffling ideas don't work, don't keep bailing out the magnificent losers.
And do punish the outsourcers. A company that sends jobs out of the country needs to have consequences. At least it needs to provide 1 or 2 years of free retraining to every worker it fires. It also has to put in money to the NEW jobs partnerships.
Lend manufactures and farmers money at .25%, not the banks.
It is time we started supporting the means of production, not the means of arbitrage.
