Do you recommend going 2 days to Cedar Point or is one day enough?
So I might be going to Cedar Point in the last week of August and think of going on wednesday or thursday on the 29th or 30th so I wanna go 2 days but my mom says its too exspencive and probably unnecessary but she has never really seen something of cedar point and its size so I wanna know if one day is enough to enjoy going on pretty much all coasters and many of the good thrill rides without the fast lane thing we plan to arrive the second it opens and (if my parents and my sister can take it cause we left early at least 1 hour before park closing in orlando) until the park closes. So what do you think do I need 2 days or one day is good. Also can I enter with backpacks into the rides and put it in like a box or something cause La ronde (the closest amusement park for me) does this and I can put my belongins in a box and ride, or do I need someone to stay with the stuff or get a locker.

definitely 2 days.
Cedar Point used to be a one day park, but ever since they closed down Cleveland's Geauga Lake Amusement Park in 2007, its definitely a two day park. On busy days, you will be lucky to get on Millennium Force, Dragster, or Maverick with anything less than a 2 hour wait for each one. There's just too much to do for one day and attendance is too high; you will feel rushed and will definitely miss a lot of stuff. You have to use lockers for Dragster and Millennium because the loading stations are separate from the unloading stations. You cant even get in those lines with backpacks on. The lockers (new for this year) just takes your fingerprint so you don't have to keep track of a key.
They will let you into the park before it opens. You cant ride anything yet and they hold you in the main midway, but it gives you a little head start over where you would be if you came right at opening. If you stay at a cedar point resort or breakers express (a regular hotel owned by cedar point), then you can start riding a few of the big coasters for an hour before the park opens.
edit: Yes that restaurant is called johnny rockets. The best food in terms of quality and quantity inside the park is the Panda Express that is near Millennium Force (if you like Asian food) .

Well it depends on what your planning on ridding I myself am not a big fan of the IRL extreme coasters such has the dragster so I skipped quite a few and had time for everything including the water rides such has shoot the rapids etc. I went there a second time and has loads of extra things so it all depends on this one factor of the rides you are planning ultimately I would get a map and plan ahead of time I think ultimately if you start early due to to the excessive amour if people and stay late (note like most amusement parks I've been to loose a lot of people around 9:00 or 10:00) you should have enough time for your activities also If you are hungry I recomend a place in which a can't entirely remember the name but was themed like a 80's style dinner by the entrance I belove it was called johney rockets they have great burgers malts, shakes etc. And have a juice box for all the songs such has splish splash and YMCA
