How do i do a plot graph with wide range differences?

What should I do if my horizontal values are far away from each other. For example X values: 200, 700, 1000, 50,000 and 300,000. There is no way i can equally space them out on my graph what should i do?

Use a semi-log graph which is linear in the vertical direction, and logarithmic

in the horizontal direction. The only potential snag is that there is no (x = 0).

    It's usually not a problem.

     ↑ y

    |

    —|————ı————ı————ı————ı——> x

      ıoo   ıooo  ıoooo    ıooooo ıoooooo

Note: The horizontal scale between each power of ten is NON-LINEAR.

          See "semi-log plot" at Wikipedia.
