How many Arizona POW camps were there?

In World War II? Sources, too, please.

Thanks in advance!

Here's a full list of all Arizona POW camps for WWII:

On a fun note, the main administration building at the Phoenix Zoo (torn down a few years ago) was one of the original buildings from the camp. The gym built for the camp is still there, used as the warehouse at the Zoo to this day. The Papago Park camp was where a famous escape occurred in 1944. A few enterprising German's planned their escape and used a map to assist, which showed the Salt River close by. With the plan to grab a boat and continue their escape, they snuck out on Christmas Eve. The plan, however, 'dried up' at the moment they reached the river bed and found it completely dry (as most AZ water ways are). They still tried, but some gave up quickly as AZ got the best of them and they turned themselves in asking to be returned. The ones that continued on, ended up being found later on anyway.

I've worked at the Zoo for years and my office was once in the original building. Always thought that was kind of fun. Although published, most of the public isn't aware of the history there.
