Who on earth is Mary Mackillop ? I have heard of Mother Theresa of Calcutta and Joan of Arc but this lady is new to me. Its a pitythis woman did not influence morality amongst Catholic priests as many have been found to be wanting !!

I can only guess... She was instrumental in establishing schools in remote areas across Australia. These private schools catered for poor kids. Nuns under her instructions heading off into remote outback towns to teach poor kids...... pretty tough going back in the day.
