Basically, what is NETWORKING?

Does networking covers the topic on repairs of modem, if so please explain

    It's mostly the configuration and planning of networks and networking equipment, not exactly repairing. A lot of hardware today is made cheap enough that it is better to dispose the hardware than try hours to fix it.

    Fixing of hardware in the information technology field is phasing out. Instead of fixing, it is now replacing. I would not recommend pursuing a career in it if you want to fix hardware.

    No, it's cheaper and easier to just buy a new one.
