Is it beyond the Yahoo programmers..?

...to remove references to deleted questions from the list of those that you might be interested in answering?

    Simply yes. That has been a glitch in the software and databases for 5 years that usually happens when the site goes down. Questions get "stuck" and the only way to move them is by hand. When the staff was full strength they would sometimes do it, but now with reductions, I doubt we will see efforts again. They were never able to program a fix.
