Remington 580 Single shot. Need Chamber screw.?

The loading platform screw for my Remington 580 .22 is missing. It looks like it may be at the very small end of the standard machine screw sizes - perhaps a #1-72 or even #0-80. Just not quite sure what the size is. (Fine or coarse thread?) I'm assuming I should look for stainless steel for best results. Any gun repair knowledgeable folks? Or anyone else run across this?

The screw is available (on-line) for a bit over $10, but since I can access a machine shop, I should be able to run this down without having to wait 2 weeks or more.

Appreciate any help.

Update:

Edit: For clarification - what I meant by stating I have access to a machine shop - I can get just about any standard size bolts from the parts in our machine shop. And if the bolt in quest is a bit too long, then I can get it cut shorter with no great problem. (Actually, I would just do that myself with a vice and a grinder, probably.)

Really, just need to figure out the bolt size - though in a worst case, I can just pick up one each of 0-80, 1-72, etc - 4 or 5 bolts - no more than $1 total.

Good luck getting the screw made.

I would order it if I was sure about size and threads.

edit: I can not imagine any machine shop with the capability to make a screw that size, unless they have a machine set up for mass production. Even then, the cost to set up for a run will be much more than $10-much, much more.

    Buy the screw.

    Did you try Numrich?

Edit: hey, go for it dude- why did you even ask?

If it's available online I'd go that route.
