Where do hybrids fit in a set?

I realize it will vary a bit from one brand to the next, but which clubs are normally replaced by typcial hybrids? I do reasonably well with my 3-iron, but I'm interested in trying hybrids to replace both the 3-iron and the 7-wood. How can I select the appropriate hybrid from a set to match each of these?

For the 7 wood, you would need to get a 22 degree hybrid, which is somewhere between the equivalence of a 3 or 4 iron. The 3 iron would be replaced by a 21 degree hybrid. Really, I would suggest a 21 (3 iron equivalent) and a 24 (4 iron equivalent). Good luck!

i in my view locate my fifty two and fifty six degree wedges, alongside with my 40 5 degree PW to be good sufficient. If i detect i'm in between golf equipment, i will use the decrease loft and purely take a shorter lower back swing. Takes some prepare to get the yardage perfect, yet i think of it relatively is worth it to maintain the hybrid. i understand i like mine for hitting out of the tough or making punch pictures.

You would have to try some sets and ask about them. Some of them you can change the loft. But just go to a store that allows you to try them out so that they match up.but it should be the higher the number for a hybrid would best fit a 7 wood and a low around 4 or 5 hybrid would b good for a 3 iron since hybrids naturally have a flat face.
