Jehovah's Witnesses, how good you are in following Christ?
These are the some of the teachings of Christ and how well (obviously not perfect but still genuinely well) Jehovah's witnesses follow these teachings:
1. "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you" - Matthew 5:44
"The established churches are CORRUPT, WORLDLY, and devoid of divine authority"
*** w99 4/15 p. 25 The Collegiants—Bible Study Made Them Different ***
"There are many persons in Christendom who firmly believe they are spiritually alive because they regularly read the Bible and attend church. But where is the activity that should be evidence of their aliveness? In what way are they using the knowledge they gain from Bible reading? Can sitting in a church once a week be considered as Christian activity?"
*** w59 1/1 p. 3 Are You Spiritually Alive? ***
"They [the clergy] have in fact represented the Devil, because it [the Church] is the Devil's organization." (J.F. Rutherford, Life, 1929, p. 292).
2. "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you" - Matt. 7
"The clergy of Christendom have falsely assumed the name Christian. Therefore THEY ARE GUILTY of impersonating the first witness of Jehovah, the Lord Christ Jesus, in violation of the law of Almighty God."
*** w50 5/15 p. 149 par. 16 Living Up to the Name ***
"Ever since Christendom was founded in the days of Constantine the Great, Pontifex Maximus of the Roman Empire, the Catholic clergy and, later, the Protestant clergy HAVE BEEN GUILTY of spiritual adultery. How so? In being friends of this world and taking part in its politics and military ventures."
*** w79 9/1 p. 27 par. 18 The Royal “Shepherd” of Bible Prophecy ***
3. “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick... For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” - Matt.9:12-13.
Over the years, offenders disfellowshipped from the worldwide Christian congregation, mostly on grounds of sexual immorality, have numbered into the tens of thousands. In some years there have been even more than fell in ancient Israel because of the Baal of Peor. May we keep up our guard so that WE NEVER FALL INTO THAT COMPANY!
*** re chap. 9 p. 44 par. 11 Holding Fast to Jesus’ Name ***
4. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
Jehovah's Witnesses pray only for their own brothers and sisters when some major natural disaster occurs in the world. What's wrong with praying for everyone who is victim of the disaster?
I'm not talking about personal prayers... I'm talking about prayers that are being done in kingdom halls before and after meetings.

Kingdom Hall prayers allow for a degree of freedom for the man praying (who must be 'approved' to pray - only JW men in good standing can pray). But there are restrictions on what, or who, they can pray for. For example, on the matter of praying for people who have been disfellowshipped, they are not allowed to do that. They have a rigid rule that has them all agreeing that anybody disfellowshipped must be practicing sin deliberately. So one of their magazines said;
"...we should not pray in behalf of a person who gives evidence of practicing sin deliberately. John also wrote in 2 John 9-11 about persons who spread unchristian views. Prayers in their behalf would be offensive to God."
Although that scripture does NOT forbid prayers, it must be pointed out that JWs think "spreading unchristian views" means talking about the worship of Christ, the reality of hell as a place of punishment, the numerically unlimited availability of the Holy Spirit to all who believe in Jesus etc. They are told not to pray for anyone who used to be a Witness but who now dares to speak about any belief the Society says is wrong. They must not even speak to a disfellowshipped person who then starts to come back the the Kingdom Hall, with a view to being reinstated. A solitary chair is kept at the back of all Kingdom Halls for that person to sit on, alone. So, if JWs can't even speak to that persona non gratis when in their presence, they absolutely are not going to pray for them!
Bear in mind that JWs never have prayer meetings. In most other denominations, there are weekly prayer meetings where those in need of prayer are prayed for. Tact is obviously called for, and confidentiality when requested, but often individuals are named before the Lord in prayer, and all church members at the prayer meeting are free to pray however they feel led. There are never any prayers expressing malice or hatred or disapproval, but that God would be gracious and help the person and their family. JWs never do this kind of praying as a congregation.
As your quotes show, there is general distaste for all religions other than their own, and specific distaste for all individuals who leave them, and this cannot help but be reflected in how they pray and for whom they do - or don't pray.

I understand where you're coming from. The best answer I can give uses ancient Israel as an example.
Remember that although they were suppose to be children of Abraham, many fell into pagan worship and lost God's approval? However, there was always a faithful element and eventually, Jesus Christ was born of the tribe of Judah, and the promise to Abraham was fulfilled in that "by means of his seed (offspring) all nations of the Earth would bless themselves, when Jesus died for our sins. After which, God opened the way to salvation to people of the nations, so one did not have to be a descendant of Abraham to receive the blessing, but rather, exercise faith in Jesus.
The point i'm making is this. Throughout history, God has used people, kings, nations, and even animals to accomplish his will. Some of those people, kings, and nations were later judged when they did things that God did not approve of.
Jesus said in Mathew 24:14 that the good news of the Kingdom would be preached in all the Earth. Jehovah's Witnesses are organized to do this work, preaching in 235 countries and and in over 400 languages.
So although they have imperfections and don't always do things right (who does anyway?) They are organized and are doing the work that Jesus said would happen. Let all things take place, and let God be the judge in the end.
Its every individual's personal choice if they want to join them in that work or not...

The original Christians knew the difference between God and the Lord. Page one of Genesis has two creations. The first one by God in which the universe and stars and planets etc were created. Pretty much sounds like the big bang. The second creation is by the Lord who creates the "world". Not to be confused with the planet. The world is the society of men we all live in. They also pointed out that God is loving and forgiving whereas the lord is jealous (of who?) and vengeful. To any emotionally mature adult these are obvious opposites. Which is why the first Christians called the lord "Satan".

I am not a JW and I know that many people see them as a cult. In my opinion, ALL religions are cults and have been used to control the masses. I find it ironic that Jesus himself didn't believe in religions yet one of the largest religions, christianity bares his name!
As for JW's following Christ, Most Christians PERIOD do a horrible job of following Christ. Oh they say they do but it's what you do not what you say and sadly I see a lot of so called Christians behaving very unlike Christ. I believe this to be true that the most devout, the most out spoken people in religion are the biggest sinners!
I say don't talk the talk, walk the walk. It speaks louder than you think!

Jehovah's Witnesses are counterfeit Christians so they do not follow Christ.
His first commandment is to love
Their first reaction is to Judge
I was a Witness cult member for 22 years and I am glad to be freed form it
Put their own quotes in their faces and they will not answer the Question but say things like "How do you know what are in my prayers?"
Divert attention form the point and Tap-Dance your heart out.
Next you will get a swarm of witnesses calling you an Apostate/Hater/Opposer
Getting Old
Note: Your comment about prayer is absolutely true and spot on and I would like Lone Dissenter to either swear to you that he does indeed pray for others than his brothers and sisters in WBS at the Kingdom hall, or remain silent

I guess from these scriptures, not very good
Don't expect a direct answer, they will answer with something lame like "how do you know what I'm thinking"
yeah, cause that's an answer
Don't bother asking how they feed the poor and clothe the naked, because I'm sure they think soup kitchens and clothing cupboards are just as evil as heck given that the refuse to help those in need

The jehovah cult utilizes classic mind control techniques to control its adherents. The cult begins by welcoming the target into the cult. It's all smiles and hugs at fist. The cult then forbids the target to associate with anyone that is not also a cult member, including family members. Once the cult has established itself as the target's only support network, the cult threatens expulsion from the group (the jehovah cult calls this disfellowshipping) if you disobey your cult handlers in any way.
