can i collect unemployment benefits if my primary full time job (of 5 months) laid me off even though?

I still have employment with the Navy Reserves? I only get paid 300$ for my drill weekends which I have just once a month. But the job which was my income source laid me off, so am i still eligible for unemployment?

Pls only answer if you actually know the answer. Thank you

Update:

well regarding the deductions do you know if it would hugely impact how much i ultimately received? we've both still been unable to find work, so this would be our lifeline for the moment :(

Yes you can collect, but they'll deduct you drill weekends when they do the calculations for what you'll receive.

Source(s): Collected in the early 90's when I got out, and they did that with my VA Disability.

I'm not sure why this question is in Marriage & Divorce, but whether or not you get unemployment depends on the amount of money you made over a particular track - or quarter. You have had to make so much in the rank in order to receive benefits. The best way to find out is file for UC and have your case evaluated by a specialist there.

    Good luck.
