Dating a guy I'm not sure if I am attracted to?

So I have known this guy a few years. We slept together whilst drunk, I fancied him then but the next day I felt so awkard and uncomfortable I just wanted to go home.

We have met up whilst I have been drunk on several occasions, he has asked me on dates asked to date me and at the time I am all for it but the next day I just want to ignore him.

His a very nice guy Intelligent, finically secure. He is five years older than me though. I am 20. He lives close by only a ten minute walk. He is looking for a relationship and respects me.

But I don't know if I fancy him! He is a good looking guy but I don't feel like I really want to tear his clothes off or anything.

We met the other day whilst sober and had a nice evening with other's and I did begin to like him more as his personality was great and we really did get on. But the next day I feel so uncertain.

I don't know if I am being shallow & vain or if I'm just not ready to date.
