Although there is some oxygen in the Sun, oxidation (what we call fire, burning or combustion) as on Earth is not possible. When any molecules form, the atoms are too energetic to remain covalently connected as in oxidation here on Earth.
The energy of the Sun comes from nuclear fusion in which hydrogen atoms combine to form helium and in the process release a tremendous amount of energy. Oddly, there is not enough pressure in the Sun to cause the fusion directly. If there were, most of the fusion would occur fairly rapidly as it does in more massive stars, instead of over the billions of years of our Sun's "main sequence".
The fusion in the Sun occurs because of a rare effect called "quantum tunneling". In this process, fusion takes several separate steps to form helium and release energy. During the process of making a helium atom, about 0.7% of the original hydrogen is converted from matter to energy.
In the Sun, even though quantum tunneling occurs extremely rarely to atoms, there are so many atoms that more than four million metric tons of hydrogen is converted to energy each second. Even at this rate, over the Sun's 4.57 billion year existence, only around 100 Earth-masses of matter have been converted into energy leaving about 332,900 Earth-masses remaining.
Quantum tunneling is so rare that far less energy is produced per kilogram of matter in the Sun than heat produced per kilogram in human bodies by chemical means. But the sun is extremely massive and the total energy production is immense.

Hey :-)
The earth's gravity originates from its liquid iron core, Iron is magnetic and creates a magnetic field around the earth. Gravity is the pull the earth has on everything, as mass increases so does the gravitational pull.
Sun burn comes from Ultraviolet light from the electromagnetic spectrum that is emitted the sun's light rays, Sun burn is these rays effectively "cooking" the skin, this is also what causes skin pigment.
I hope this helps :-)

Those not quite correct descriptions of how the magnetic field of Earth have nothing to do with Earth's gravity. All matter attracts all other matter. Earth has a lot of matter and is close by, so nearly all gravity near Earth's surface is the due to the Earth's mass.
A small percentage of The Sun's energy output is ultraviolet B which causes sun burn. Neil

Gravity is the force of attraction between ALL mass.
Gravity in the layman's sense (what makes objects fall) is the attractive force caused by the mass of the Earth.
Sunburns are caused by solar radiation(most notably ultraviolet(UV) radiation) that damages tissues on the surface of the skin.

gravity is created by the core of the earth which is formed of hot molten iron which is highly pressurized and the the source of sun burn is fusion process of hydrogen gas under high pressure and temperature
