First time babysitting..?
So I just got my first babysitting job for the next two days. I'm taking care of two kids: 1 boy (about 9 yrs old) and his little sister (around 6 yrs old). I know that the family is well-known in my community and are really nice and sweet, and a few of my friends have kept the kids before and said they're both really good. Just because its my first time, I'm wondering if there are some any tips you guys could give me, or if there is anything I should know? Any help would be appreciated! By the way, Im 17 haha

BRING STUFF FOR THEM TO DO!!! The kids are used to their toys. Bring a few things that you guys can do together. When I baby sit young girls I bring LOTS of hair stuff, clips and ponytails and cute things like that, plus some fake jewlrey that I don't mind if it gets lost or broken, (Dollar store is a GREAT place to pick up stuff!) Maybe some nail polish so you can paint her nails? And for the boy, I like getting water guns and nerf balls and playing in the back yard. Its a good way to get them to burn energy too!! if you've got a little extra cash, just see what the dollar Store has. You can make a baby sitting box that you can use again and again! And if you're watching them late into the night, bring something for you to do after they go to bed!!!
Also- make sure you ask about any alergies, know where the band-aids are (kids love them lol) and that you have all contact numbers. If the family is good friends with the neghibors, get their numbers too, just in case.
BEST OF LUCK!!!!

Hi,
I would say make sure you have the parents mobile number in case the kids play up or you feel you can't cope.
Being a parent myself I would rather know whats going on than be in ignorance.
Good luck x
