Why does my baby stay awake?
My baby "fights sleep". I was told that its because she doesn't want to miss anything. She also has seperation anxiety. And she sometimes hardly takes a nap. Any suggestions? Thanks!

1)Have the child on a schedule or a routine
2)Set the mood for sleep during nap times ( making it darker in the room, make it quiet, etc...)
3)Help the child relax with a fan, sound machine, humming, patting on the back, etc..
4)Be an example, you being relaxed and calm will help the baby to be more relaxed and calm. You laying down with your baby and closing your eyes should let the baby know it's sleeping time.
Hope it helps! It's worked for me but all children are different. Maybe this or something similar will work for you.
