How to choose between books?

Ok, so I am a big reader (can usually get 400 page books done in 3 hours if reading at a steady rate) and to make sure i never run out, i load up on books. But then i always have too many books to choose from!! I usually just go with intuition, and it usually works good, but i slipped out of a reading mode and my intuition is failing me. So I need to know.... How The Heck Am I Going To Choose A Good Book?!!

On some reading sites and even book purchase sites (like Amazon; B&N) you can go on type in a title you've read and they will make suggestions down at the bottom of the page. You can also type in a genre you like and check other people's book lists to see if they have anything close. Most review sites will include a short summary and reviews from readers with some details to help you select.

Even on here if you have a fav genre and list the latest reads, and ask for some titles or authors you will get some decent feedback. With all the reading you do however it may be harder.
