    It can be a diminutive of Patricia or Patrick, of a dog that herds sheep.

    Or if spelled different as # Pas tout # meaning # not all.

    Patou is also a french last name.

    I know two things

    Patou is a last name in French as well as a nickname for patricks

    BUT if it is Pâtour, it means herdsman, a sheep herder

    Patou is also the name of a mountain dog also called "chien de montagne des Pyrénées"
