What type of lawyer deals with police corruption?

Let me express my abject disgust with the New York police department and their depraved behavior and misuse/abuse of constituted authority that I have had the displeasure of witnessing my entire life.

I'm thinking about becoming a lawyer that deals strictly with corrupt police officers and maybe upper class perpetrators and nothing else. What type of lawyer is this called?

Is this criminal law, fraud law or some other type.

Update:

@Filliam William:

The cases aren't rare where I come from. I grew up in a lower class pseudo ghetto. You won't believe the things I've seen. And most of the drugs the dealers sold were brought to the dealers by the police themselves.

    Good luck with that... People claim that police are corrupt all the time, when in fact the actual cases are rare.

    A criminal defense lawyer helps persons arrested by the police. It is the criminal defense lawyer's job to show to the jury and judge the problems with the police investigation and the client's arrest.

    You use evidence of police corruption to show that evidence against your client may be faulty.
