will your fan or battery die if you play games on a non gaming laptop?
i really want to buy a new laptop. but i want to be able to play a couple games on it the guy in the store said it would work for it, but if it isnt a gaming laptop but its midline pc will it run my fan down trying to keep it cool? or will the battery die from usage? i would like a tech person to answer not just a person who feels like throwing in an answer because i dont want to spend 600 dollars on a pc just to break it. and i dont want t spend 1700 on a laptop because i dont want it specifically for gaming, i just want it to be able to handle

No your Fan or Battery can't Die If you play Games on A Non-Gaming Laptop because It totally Depends on the Games that you are trying to Play Suppose If you have the Configurations as followed:
RAM- 1 GB or Lesser
Processor- Pentium 4 / Dual Core/ Core 2 Duo / i3/ i5 / i7
Graphics Card- 128 Mb/ 256Mb / 512 Mb
then you can enjoy playing Games like:
GTA SanAndreas
GTA Vice City
NFS All Editions (except NFS the RUN )
FIFA
HALO

It really depends on the game you"ll be playing , and normally battery die when gaming because of the power draw on the systems mainly the graphic card , it's wise to use it on ac power while gaming, overheating while gaming on a low end laptop , yes , temp will increase , fan will throttle up but may or may not fail but sooner than expect the overheat will win the battle causing the laptop to shutdown, before that a bsod will show up because of the graphic card is not compatible for the game, these are some of the things that will happen to a low end laptop if running games like BF3 , or skyrim
When gaming on a low end laptop start at low settings and move to medium settings all the time have a good temp montior installled on your system like speedfan , but there are others like HW monitor , if getting a 600 dollar or below for some gaming get a good processor -i5/i7 and at least 6-8 gb ram expanable, a amd hd 6000 series or a nvidia gt 500 series these graphic cards are good for light gaming to medium gaming , yes , for good gaming you"ll pay well over 1200 -1500 dollars and over , tell us which one you was looking at or can e-mail me.yahoo e-mail account only

i say in case you have already got been given a ps2 u would desire to get a ps3, for my area in the experience that your already used to a ps2 then ps3 is a similar thought yet greater advantageous video games and photographs, yet a wii, it variety of feels cool yet its not that super, its almost impossible to attempt in gun video games and the only sturdy concern approximately that's wii activities so don purchase a wii, and an Xbox is purely a replica of ps3 yet with (for my area, i must be incorrect) lamer video games and worse photographs, and if u do get a ps3 yet a activity called call of accountability modern-day conflict!!!! its the worlds ultimate activity its all conflict, u can take different peoples weopons, u can hit, run, take tanks, vehicles, snipers, something it is likewise possible to throw back grenades, and in case you decide on u may even play on line from the ps3.

no worries. most games have lower settings you can play on that will be compatible with cheaper hardware. Honestly, if you try playing a badass game on maximum settings on a bad computer, you'd give up before it overheated just because it would lag too much
