Great signing for Liverpool if it goes ahead. Though I think they can't risk having ONLY him come into the squad. They'll need another striker as well. Owen will spend most of his time on the physio table and can't be counted on over a whole season. But when he IS fit, he'll be a top option to be in any team.

I don't really want him at United anymore to be honest, he has done a decent job for United given that he did come in as a free transfer. But United simply don't need him anymore. That said, with Owen and Berba going, United will need another ESTABLISHED striker to come in. Can't rely solely on the young Chicha and Welbeck.

you are able to continually spot a glory hunter via the shortsightedness of their comments. RVP is an unplayable striker on style. He all started the season scoring for relaxing and you think of that impulsively he has no potential? United have the final strikers in England already, Hernandez, RVP AND Rooney so no i don't think of a reliable striker is their weak point. the concern is that United have a shitty mid-field and an excellent worse protection. Why does Rio nonetheless play soccer?

Michael Owen is not what he used to be but neither is Liverpool they need somebody who wants to score goals or at least gives an appearance to want to score goals since Liverpool forwards refuse to score. This will be better than what they are doing now.
