I know I am old fashionedf, but there is a factory Norton competing in the Senior at this years T.T.?

What are it's chances of a replica? A Norton won the first ever in 1907 for those who didn,t know, and NO I wasn't there.Good though innit,a BRITISH machine once more, can hardly contain myself.

Stuart Garner has conceded that victory is unlikely in the first year, but believes the team has put in good preparation and will arrive with a competitive machine.

Wiggy I am surprised at you. To say it is not a Norton.... They tried the old way and went to the wall. How much of the bike needs to be made in house for you to call it a Norton?

It is a small concern at the moment and their ambition needs to be encouraged.

No wonder the motorcycle (let alone the car) industry went the wall in this country with this sort of attitude.

oh yeah to answer this question then

hopefully yes their will be a Norton on track this year but as said they don't have any doubts about their chances for this year.

I wish them all the luck in the world

Initially I was with Wiggysan in thinking there's not much Norton in the bike, but given how Garner the owner of Norton also owns Spondon.............

He's also realistic and saying it is a 3 year project so don't expect to much this year.

Whatever good luck to them, hope it all works out.

    There is mate.

Not much Norton about though to be honest.

Spondon frame with an RSV4 engine. Looks good though.
