Do christians/jews/muslims believe that God wrote the old testiment?

If so, why did God tell them that the earth was a flat circle, and was created in 7 days?

"For you know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit." 2 Pet 1;20,21.

"All scripture is inspired by God..." 2 Tim 3:16.

The Creator used humans secretaries to write down his thoughts.

Earth. Some 3,500 years ago, the Bible stated that the earth is hanging “upon nothing.” (Job 26:7) In the eighth century B.C.E., Isaiah clearly referred to “the circle [or, sphere] of the earth.” (Isaiah 40:22)

Creation days. That a "day" can be longer than 24 hours is indicated by Genesis 2:4, which speaks of all the creative periods as one “day.” Also, it's indicated by Peter’s inspired observation that “one day is with God is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.” (2Pe 3:8) Ascribing not just 24 hours but a longer period of time, thousands of years, to each of the creative days better harmonizes with the evidence found in the earth itself.

    Sincerely, E.

Stop reading Genesis like a science book. And the authors may have believed in a flat earth, but that doesn't change the truthfulness of the theology contained in the books anymore than Aristotle believing in Geocentrism renders his books on logic useless.

A circle is a two-dimensional object. You are thinking of a disk. A sphere is a circle at all times, and other shapes, such as a cone or cylinder, can be circles depending on the angle of observation.

Evangelical Christians believe that God only wants them to believe in some parts of the OT. They deny lots of parts, but force other parts down people's throats.

If you read the Bible, you can find out, that God told them that the earth is round not flat.

He did not say that a creation-day is only 24 hours.

No, it was divinely inspired by God. The ancient Hebrews didnt have a word for sphere, it translates into circle, it is arguablly actually meant to be sphere. And the creation is open to interpretation, as literal or not.
