Anyone care to deny the fact that Nascar manipulates its races after seeing tonight's race?

Some times they do. Tonight was a classic example of a bogus caution. Even if there was a water bottle out there, last week Montoya hit a harder bottle and nothing happened. I was thinking of manipulation way back in November, as that last race battle was too good, at least in my opinion. There was no reason to throw a caution tonight.

Not all the time. Many of these races end with long runs and a large margin of victory. Nascar has had some weak finishes lately and some lack of drama. I'm sure late in a race, they are looking for ANY reason to throw the yellows and bunch the field up.

Tony Stewart looked a little ticked off after the race. In fact he looked very unhappy that NASCAR threw a caution for a plastic bottle. And I agree. A plastic bottle on the track is almost impossible to cause any problems. The intensity of the race was built up , and i'm sure it broke the strategy of any driver who wanted to plot out a maneuver, that was intended racing, and not some very minor debris

Honesty if it were up to me, I'd add a new rule to NASCAR. A manditory caution in every race with 10 laps to go. That would not only bring more excitement and fans in, bit it would give do Many good drivers a chance to get a win.

Well NASCAR is giving the fans what they want... More cautions. There is a saying "Be careful what you wish for". I'm not a tony Stewart fan but it was a bummer knowing that he had his 3+ second lead over kyle Busch destroyed over some horse ****. I would have rather seen Jr. finish 5 than to finish 2 to kyle Busch... I know that's a bit selfish but that's just me.

Yea because NASCAR knew exactly what would happen and exactly when to throw the flag to make that happen! OK PAL! back in the Dale Sr days the drivers would throw roll bar pads water bottles what ever they could out their windows to draw a caution, Heck they even spun out on porpose.

  • I agree. Kyle Busch cheats. Me and my dad both hate him

People complain all the time "if" there are flags thrown for debris or phantom debris. Truth told is restarts are what cause excitement!
