Shinji Kagawa heading to the Premier League?

First off, it's just a rumour atm (From Bild - German Newspaper), but suggestions are that Kagawa is heading to the premier league (supposedly to Man Utd).

And it makes sense, United need a reasonably priced goalscoring attacking-mid , and Shinji Kagawa is a reasonably priced goalscoring attacking-mid. Got something like 16 goals in the Bundesliga this season helping Borussia Dortmund to the title!

If it goes through, out of 10, how good would this signing be for Man Utd?

Update:

@Baz:

I take most rumours with a pinch of salt. Hazard would be a great signing, but it's entirely unrealistic that we can afford him. Kagawa is a player that's said in the past that he want's to play for United, and at this time, United need someone of his quality in that position, and he's available for a fair price.

    i am disappointed in kagawa, he has 1 year left on his contract and is not signing a new contract. dortmund should build their team around kagawa and goetze.

    it wouldn't surprise me if kagawa chooses man utd though but i don't think he'll be first team, utd got good midfielders.

    i'm a fan of him but looks like i won't if he joins man utd.. sorry

    I would like to think that this is merely rumour, but these would seem to be more substantiated then just 'rumour'. Although BVB will want to keep Kagawa they do have Marco Reus incoming and Goetze coming back from an injury plagued season so are set to do well if he decides to leave. Of course Kagawa going may mean Kuba decides to stay. I do not think Kagawa will be as reasonably priced as people would want to make out- BVB will want at least 20 million euros for him which would then be reinvested in the squad.

    I'd hate to see him leave Signal Iduna Park, but if he does then he will be a 11/10 for whoever he signs for. He would have his pick of clubs and I wouldn't be suprised to see him go to Real Madrid as his old team-mate Nuri Sahin went there last year.

    He wouldn't fit into Man Utd's system, they need a deeplying midfielder like Modric. Not a flair attacking mid/winger as Kagawa is not capable of playing centrally alongside one other midfielder. Also Rooney plays attacking mid/second striker and they already have 5 wingers.

    Ferguson hasn't even mentioned Kagawa, it's pure media rumours. He will go to England no doubt, but I would be very surprised if he goes to Man Utd. He would fit into Man City or Arsenal alot better.
