really fussy 2 week old early morning hours?
Our daughter is really fussy between the hours of 11:30pm-5:30am. Now during the day she eats & sleeps just fine. every night between those hours she wakes up crying as if she is starving, we will feed her, during feedings she cry's the whole time we burp her. she may drink a tiny bit fall asleep for about 5 minutes wake up crying again, and then over and over this happens. it usually last about 4 hours. We always make sure we burp her good, and we really dont be leave it is colic because our other daughter had it bad, and didnt do what she is doing. also during this time, she has to be either held, in our bed, in a bouncy chair, or something something of the sort.
Thanks

My 3 week old son is the same! Just his fussy period is during mid-evening. He seemed a bit colicky, just not like he had it bad, so we started using a 'comfort' milk which is for colic, contains 40% less lactose and is thicker so that air isn't taken in so easily. Worked very well for the uncomfortable gas in his tummy which was very difficult to get up before.
He still fusses though but I've clocked on to a couple of things over the last week. The first being that half the time when he's fussing and we feed him, he doesn't really drink much of it so we take it away then a little while later he'll start the same thing again. I've figured that they are comfort feeds. He's not interested in the milk but the sucking. Sucking is very comforting for a baby. Maybe try giving your little one a soother when she starts fussing after a feed? It works like a charm for my little man!
Second thing is that my little one only really seems settled when he's being held or rocked in his swing or car seat. Newborns have a lot to get used to outside the womb. When they were in side there they were all nice and snug, bundled up and constantly feeling the motion of mum moving. It's one of the only familiar things to them in the beginning hence why imitating that motion soothes them. My solution? Swaddling when baby is snoozing in their crib, cot, whatever you've got and using a baby carrier or sling during the waking hours. The swaddling makes baby feel secure and snug like they were in the womb and the carrier/sling does the whole motion thing. So try swaddling at night.
Hope that helps. :)

her feeds are too short, if she doesn't get enough then she'll wake up again hungry soon after, try to keep her awake while she eats, 15 minutes should help, then let her go to sleep.
