1. Dangers
This means danger to YOU. Before rushing in to give first aid to someone you should first check that it's safe for you to do so. For example, no rushing out into the road, you could be hit by something, check that you're not going to electrocuted by something, burned etc etc. The casualty isn't going to be helped if you are also injured.
2. Airways
Check that the casualty's airway is clear, Check mouth for obstructions such as foreign bodies, broken teeth & put casualty into recovery position & ensure that the head is tilted back to keep airway clear.
3.Breathing
Casualty has to breathe to survive. If not breathing then you have to do it for them. Very often just putting them into the recovery position and ensuring that the head is tilted back and no obstruction in the mouth is enough to restart breathing.
4. Circulation
Casualty's heart has to be beating to pump blood round the body to get oxygen to the organs. If heart has stopped then you have to restart. This is normally combined with the 'breathing' part of CPR. Learn how and where to check for a pulse.
It is useful for everyone to attend a basic first aid course to teach them how to cope with these sorts of emergencies. You might never need to use them but when you do at least you will not panic and might save someone's life.

Dangers - Dangers are risks that you should try to prevent. Some dangers are worse than others.
Airways - Your airways are the passage to your lungs. This includes your mouth, windpipe and maybe your nose, not sure?
Breathing - Breathing is when you inhale oxygen into your lungs. Breathing is essential for life.
Circulation - The circulatory system is an organ system that passes nutrients (such as amino acids, electrolytes and lymph), gases, hormones, blood cells, etc. to and from cells in the body to help fight diseases, stabilize body temperature and pH, and to maintain homeostasis.

Homework is a soreness interior the ***, besides the shown fact that that is nicely worth it and the implications of no longer doing it are low grades, low self-nicely worth, hating college, indignant mom and dad, and awkwardness around instructors. the appropriate undertaking to do is do exactly the homework. do no longer attempt to think of, "I shouldn't..." or doubt your self - do exactly it! you are going to be sensible approximately it, do the homework it is maximum necessary first, flow away the little issues for final, take typical breaks, no ingesting whilst working as that is distracting, NO television until you're thoroughly executed.
