Stepmothers... Evil or nice?

If your 5 year old is saying she is mean then you need to find out exactly what is going on there before you allow this woman be in your daughters life.

No, not all step mothers are mean, of course not. There are good people and there are bad people. Rather than ask the question are stepmothers evil, you need to just look at your own situation.

You are under no obligation in your life, if you think you can talk to her and resolve your issues with her, give it a chance. However, if it is not an option then quite simply break all ties with her and be with people that you consider good. You have your girls to think of here.

Evil

Being mean, nasty, or evil doesn't reflect a step-mother...it reflects the person. I know for a fact that all step-mothers are not mean.... It's not the stepmother part that makes her mean it is the fact that she herself is a mean nasty person!

I've had 2 step moms in my life, my parents broke up when I was 6-7ish & the woman my dad got with was okay, she could be a wee bit cranky but okay...The woman he's with now is absolutely lovely & she's the one he ended up marrying.

Being mean is one thing but doing it in front of a kid is utterly disgusting, you & your misses need to put that woman in her place.

Well it really depends not all stepmothers are evil.

Not all step mothers are evil it just depends on the circumstances

we usually are (evil i mean). but it does not mean we can not ACT civil. but if i am nice and civil to my step children it does not mean i love them and will sacrifice my life as i would for my own children

also i must add - if a person does not like u because u re an unpleasant person it does not make that person evil. so if your step mom does not like u maybe it is YOU, not her

Maybe you behaved like an utter sh*t to her at the start of your relationship, or maybe she witnessed endless difficulties between your parents which turned her against you all.
