Where do you buy a one day CTA pass?

I'm going to chicago for one day and want to know exactly what stations you can get them at?

There are *NO* stations or vending machines where you can purchase a one-day pass.

There are some vending machines located in Union Station, Ogilvie Transit Center, a few 'L' stations, and some tourist attractions that vend 3 and 5 day passes, but they do not vend one-day passes. (They used to, but when they raised the price to $5.75, they realized the machines do not take coins, so they took all the one-day passes out.) The "Transit Card" machines that are located in all 'L' stations do not vend any kind of unlimited pass.

You can buy them at CVS and Walgreens drug stores, Jewel and Dominicks food stores, and at Currency Exchanges (check cashing stores) as well as at CTA headquarters.

If you are coming in via Union Station, there is a CVS store about one block north. Exit through the Canal Street doors and walk north to the next stop light, it is right on the corner.

If you are coming in via Ogilvie, there is a CVS store in the marketplace section in the basement. Note that both stores close relatively early, especially on weekends.

Caution: This map includes CTA rail stations where one-day passes are NOT sold.

If you can't find the one day pass elsewhere, you can buy them at CTA Headquarters at 567 West Lake Street(M-F 8am-430pm).

There's a bunch of places you can buy one, Walgreens is probably the most convenient because it has so many locations.
