imy doctor wants me to have a blood tests to check if i have coeliac disease , only a few months ago i had a colonoscopy wouldnt the symptoms have shown up then?
there was no damage to the bowel so could it still be coeliac , i have had the symptoms for several years

No, a colonoscopy would show nothing in relation to a Celiac Disease diagnosis.
The blood test may show elevated antibodies. If these are suggestive of Celiac Disease, you'll need to have an endoscopy (through the mouth).
Symptoms do not relate to severity or possibility of Celiac Disease.

No, what would show up is the damage to your bowel. A blood test will determine the presence of the gluten anti-body.
