Best tampon for beginners?

I've used tampons ONCE. The first time is always a b*tch. After that time...I was mortified to use them again. But now, two years later, I'm older and I think I'm ready. I have the playtex gentle glide in regular. Is that okay? :S I'm a bit nervous.

[er, I'll have to wait until my next cycle though. ]

    Try the playtex sport. They seem to be a little shorter and are more comfortable.

    I just use regular tampax, just use the purple
