Are extended auto warranties worth the money?
I own a 2006 Toyota Corolla and the factory warranty will be ending this month. I've seen adds for third-party extended warranties, and there is a service available through my credit union. Are they worth the money, or is it pointless to have a warranty extended on a 6 year old car? Also, could I get an extended warranty through the dealership I bought the car from (and if so, should I)?

I personally dont get any warranties. The warranties prevent you for doing anything. If you use synthetic oil it voids your warranty. If you install a turbo it also voids your warranty. The list goes on and on.
