Usually "custom built" computers are better than "factory" made. The "brand" names like Dell and HP..etc. are built for a price and do not have much flexibility. Often not very "upgradable" as they want you to buy new..not upgrade! Some parts are of dubious quality and often do not have any "bells & whistles" "tweaking" (or using some advanced features) is almost always out of the question. So if you just want a "stock" computer that will just do most of what is advertised then a "factory" PC is for you. However, If you plan on keeping the computer and want "special" features, flexibility, upgrade ability, known quality brand named parts, and better equipment, then the "custom" PC is what you want. Again, however, most of the "customs" come with parts and blot-ware you may not want or need that just adds to the price. IF you built it yourself...you get exactly what you want and need...to fit your type/style of computing, and in doing so, you get pride of accomplishment and at a price you can afford, built exactly as you want it...no unnecessary parts!

In general, a custom is better than a "factory" machine any day!

The companies literally use the exact same parts you'd find at a computer store individually, sometimes skimping out to save money, especially on the power supply, which is'nt something you should skimp out on. Building a computer is always the way to go, as each part will have a warranty so even if something DOES break (which it would've in an HP computer too since they're the same parts..), you can still replace it for free.

As long as you know what you're doing or have someone to guide your properly. Around 99% of the time it will be better than branded computers, if not better. In some very small cases sometimes shops and companies get their part for cheaper and sell it for cheaper so possibly that would be a better deal. But all in all as long as someone knows what they're doing you should be better off building your own.

    Hi,

I guess you are confused so let me tell you that companies like hp,sony, dell sell Pc with good thigs

but charge double so my suggestion to you is that to assemble your pc by yourself.I Also have assembled my pc according to my choice Which private companies can't do.

it depends on the parts used normally they would be equal or better. gigabyte motherboard will be way better than biostar for exemple. msi might not make gtx 560 as good as evga
