What guidelines to you to be a childcare provider, for people who get gov. help?

I have a friend who wants me to babysit her four kids. And said if I did I'd get 1500$ a mth to do it. First that's a lot of kids. And wouldn't get a check for 2mths. Then once a mth. reg.. Idk summers coming, I like my pool very much, an her kids are all under 6. Should I? What will I have to do to qualify , if I do?

You can contact the dept of public welfare in your state to find out but most places require that you have a home that is child proof and have working smoke detectors and fire extinguishers etc. If you have a pool it will have to be kid proof with a fence and maybe an alarm( not sure ). Many places if you call they will send you a packet to sign up to do this.It will explain all the requirements. But they are pretty easy.

y You fill out forms with your id etc. and usually the paychecks don't take as long as you are saying but your state might be slower( don't know where you are) and you will have to report this income on your taxes.

This sounds like a real commitment. Do not want to tell you what to do but I would look at everything before I rush into a decision. Good Luck.
