I'm gonna share a quote I wrote that goes with this scripture
" If you're not fighting for the cause of righteousness and made aware of the craftiness and designs of the devil in this world, then you are of his kingdom, and he has marked you his."
Basically|y do as the scripture suggests, be vigilant against your adversary (Satan) and keep your eyes open and aware of his influences. We must always pray with full purpose, reconcile with our savior, repent of our sins, follow the will of the Lord regarding our choices, this is a godly path. Is it easy? Heck no. Are we going to lose some battles? Uh ya... Satan is smart and cunning but through Jesus Christ we can overcome and through his spirit be blessed in this earth life and beyond. Ty for the open discussion on the matter, may God be with you and bless you.

The very words here researched help to know what to do.
Sober means to be calm. Whenever we get upset or excited
in any way, then the rational mind shuts down. Jesus did not
show any extreme, although He was angry, and did something
about that.
So, when angry, expressing it well, or doing something about this,
will help to keep us free from bondage to the devil who will
use anything to hurt us.
Another meaning to be 'sober' is to collected in spirit, so you
would want to think about what that means for you. Worth
having a discussion in a group to see how each individual
does this.
I find it all too easy to get UNcollected in my spirit, and
then be distracted, and then this is a bad path which
must be attended to.
Yet another meaning of 'sober' is to be 'circumspect'...
thus weighing what happens, watching as Jesus said.
Vigilant is a good word, and in the Greek, it means to have
been roused from sleep.
How often do we go about half awake, not really noticing?
Too often I find. I put a Q up recently because I saw a
terrible accident, and it made me wake up to how grateful
I needed to be for God's protection.
That was then, but now I would forget that, just get on to
things, and ASSUME things should be fine. Is this realistic?
So, those are just some things from the verse itself.
