you need an agent to get you on most professional auditions. if this is an open call the casting director

will put out specific contact info. on how to submit yourself for an audition. if the producer has a site

and it gives instructions on submissions, do what it says. april of 2012 is already past. this is may. if you have 10 months to get ready that would be march of 2013. if a show is already set to start filming,

    auditions are already over with.

No, sorry. It just doesn't work like that.

For a start, what you'd need is a great resume, showing which drama school you've been attending and for how many years. It would also need to show a long list of stage plays and films in which you've taken leading roles in the last couple of years.

Even after that, you'd only be able to apply for an audition if you'd been given the details by your agent. Anything just sent in to a producer or director just gets trashed. They never accept unsolicited stuff - they wouldn't even look at it.

Auditions for TV shows, movies and big stage shows don't get advertised at all. The casting directors ask their favourite agents to submit suitable actors to them, because they never want to bother auditioning beginners - only fully-trained and very experienced actors.

in many circumstances this is because of the fact they began going to point college at 5 or 6 years of age, and have been so sturdy that a baby's agent who observed certainly one of their showcases agreed to represent them. There are infrequently ever any auditions marketed publicly. the little ones do no longer discover the auditions, the brokers are reported via the casting administrators, and that they leaf by using their books to discover any customers who could be proper for the jobs.

Usually, in order to audition for a tv show, you have to get in contact with an agent and they will set you up with audition. Calling the producer is not going to get you anywhere and he/she might not listen to you.

The producer won't do anything. The only person to submit your headshot and resume to is the casting director IF they have announced an open casting calls
